Outside Reading #2

December 1, 2015

An interesting quote form the Bible that explains faith, “Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” (Corinthians 15:58). Standing firm, referring to standing with their faith, exemplifies troubles many had when questioning their faith. Let no object or person change their opinion on God. Giving themselves to the work of the Lord is another way of saying practice the faith of Christianity. This is not a sacrifice but a motivation to do better. After giving yourself to the work of God you will be rewarded because nothing you do for God is ever forgotten.
