Lanscapes of the Sacred, Entry 3/15

12-3-15...8:15PM

Hello reader,

According to Martin Luther as stated within the text on page 67, God can never be directly approached as his glory is too great; instead he is witnessed through his creations, such as the bread and wine, the land itself, humanity. I believe that this statement is truthful in nature although non-believers may view this as a way of hiding the non existence of God. Directing our attention to the creations of God is in fact our only way of connecting with him, we can never pursue him directly as he is behind everything that already exists, and remains hidden yet seen. If you try, you can feel him in everything observable and everything you do. The air you breath, entering your lungs, giving you oxygen which keeps you alive, that itself is one example of millions that demonstrate the power of God and his existence in every moment of your life, some just choose to ignore the creator of such things, as God made it so they are free to choose so.
