The Phenomology of Prayer, Entry 13/15

12-4-15...4:47PM

Hello reader,

According to the reading concerning what we should pray for, it is stated that a prayer for the assistance of others is one of the more correct ways to pray. I agree, giving is more important than receiving, in this case we would be asking God to give what we cannot - divine intervention on behalf of the weak or needy. I feel that the more we pray for other the more likely we are to receive help when we are in dire need, as those we prayed for may return the favor and pray for us. This hopefulness is the bright side of humanity I feel, and as long as we can maintain that hope for humanity and not give up because of the seemingly endless acts of violence, then I believe those who put forth effort will all find a place in heaven after death.
