Hello reader,
The third axiom of a sacred place according to the reading states that we as people can physically enter a sacred place, yet not experience it spiritually at all. This is because our minds may not be open to the other entities of this world, we do not always dwell in a place the way one would need to in order to experience it. This in my opinion is understandable, because some sacred places may be for example a very public space where many individuals pass though each day on regular business - they are not thinking necessarily about the place or what it can access. That would require one to stop, and be open to the place in both body and mind. Imagine a crowded city square also being a holy site? Those wishing to experience it would have to really e focused and block out the noise of the crowd. Just something to consider, regarding a physical area that may also be sacred.
