Anthropology
This semester, I am taking a physical Anthropology class. Physical Anthropology is basically the bio part of anthropology, learning about fossils, bones and evolution. What I did not expect was for it to be almost philosophical. It has been a real eye-opener. For those who are not strong believers in evolution, you may still question our being. Why are we here? What is our purpose? As of right now, no one can really answer that question. Anthropology is studied in order for us to determine the purpose of our existence as well as determine where we came from and where this could lead our future civilization. Learning about this can help find cures for terminal illnesses, improve our living conditions, and even save the earth. This class is quite philosophical and is trying to help us understand what the true meaning of our existence is.
