Outside Reading: Trail Magic and Trail Angels

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them… 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
~ Matthew 6:25-34

This excerpt from the bible reminds me of the discussions about trial magic and trail angels. The verses talk about items that we think about on a daily basis. While you are hiking on the trail, food and water are two things that you think about the most because you never know when you will get the next meal or find the next source of water. If you are hiking the trails to have a stronger connection with God, then you know that he will provide for you. He does this through trial magic and trail angels. God puts the items that you need the most right, where they need to be at the right time so you can keep hiking. God wants you to have a stronger relationship and he wants you to put faith in him that he will provide for you.
