Kasey Frazier Setting/ Experience: The Noland Trail

The trip to the Nolan trail was very peaceful. One glance at the lake and my body instantly became calmed. The sounds did speak to me and time (Kairos) slowed down. Felt as if everything came to a standstill and I was at peace with myself at the same place (Chora) in front of the lake and could spend days in that very spot. The woods was also a breath of fresh air. I felt like I could breathe in healing freshness and breathe out the stress and problematic issues going on in my life. I had become mindful of the small creatures. Birds, squirrels, and tiny insects did not seem disgusting on the trail. They appeared as a work of art and so interesting I was even willing to touch them. That is unnatural for me but that day on the Nolan trail anything was possible and that is what I took away from the good vibes and spirits that sounded me that day.
