Kasey Frazier Topic of Choosing: My Room

My room is my sacred place. A sacred place is defined as devoted or dedicated to a deity or to some religious purpose. In my room I do just that. It is my secret escape from the world similar to the blog I wrote about Narnia. I open myself up to my God and am vulnerable to him in my room. I am my absolute self and my soul always finds a way to shine out in my room. Moving to Christopher Newport University my new room is becoming my dorm. This is okay but I am not 100% myself therefore this room is not sacred to me. Not enough experiences happened on a spiritual level compared to my room at home. At home, in Virginia Beach, I encountered several spiritual moments during prayer and sleep. My room was more than a space, it was a part of who I am and how I view different situations because of the sacred memories.
